We came from a Celtic land named Galiza (above Portugal on the map) where gastronomy is all about: locally grown, fresh and best quality ingredients are always welcome in our kitchens.
That's why at Bridge Cottage Cafe we are proud to cook in the Old Fashioned way handed down from our ancestors, which means, simple is best, processing our ingredients as little as we can.
We endeavour to source our ingredients as locally as possible: Seasonal salad leaves, Loch Ewe smoked salmon, free-range eggs, oatcakes, seasonal berries, shortbread are all provided from small companies around the West Coast.
With considerable effort, everything on the Menu is HOMEMADE and the BEST of QUALITY as result of taking care of our local goods, organic flours and many products, fair-trade, as well as our terrific organic coffee from Brazil, Mexico, Peru, cooperatives around the world.
Please note: due to our wee kitchen, we cannot guarantee against cross contamination of allergens for people with severe allergies.
